Word is still the format recruiters and agencies ask for most, because anyone can edit it. Our templates download as .docx: a clean document with real heading styles and real bullet lists, editable line by line.

Why Word rather than PDF?
Two cases justify .docx: the job ad explicitly asks for it, or a recruitment agency needs to strip your contact details before forwarding your file. Otherwise prefer PDF — it locks your layout so nothing shifts between computers.
A genuinely editable file
Many free "Word templates" are really documents stuffed with text boxes and nested tables: impossible to edit cleanly and unreadable by screening software. Ours uses native Word styles — the Navigation pane works, bullets are real bullets, and ATS software reads the text correctly.
